Festive Pita Bites

A festive appetizer perfect for the "Festive Fanatic"

Ingredients

  • 3 Pita rounds
  • 3/4 cup LaRosa's pizza sauce
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese or plant-base cheese Shredded
  • 6 oz Ham Chopped
  • Italian seasoning, Salt, & Pepper to taste, to lightly sprinkle
  • 4 Mandarines Segmented & Chopped
  • 1/2 cup Pomegranate seeds
  • 3 tbsp Honey For drizzling after baking

Instructions

  • Cut pita into triangles. Place on a cookie sheet to assemble.
  • Spread each pita triangle with the pizza sauce. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and ham.
  • Sprinkle with salt, pepper and Italian seasonings.
  • Bake at 400°F for 7–9 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, add chopped mandarines & a few pomegranate seeds for each triangle.
  • Drizzle with honey and serve.
